Exhibition at World Financial Center

If you have the chance, check out the mixed media art exhibition, “Crossing Lines:  The Many Faces of Fiber”,  at the World Financial Center Courtyard Gallery, now through February 19 (Tues-Sun, noon to 4pm).  I have a piece there, “Shades of Teal”, 60 x 48 inches, handmade paper with pigments mounted on canvas.

Green Curves and Divide

I took two of my big pieces out to the garden to photograph.  ” Green Curves” and “Divide”, both are 60 inches high by 48 inches wide, handmade paper with pigments mounted on canvas.  Come to the studio and see them in person!  160 Union Street, Brooklyn.

Summer at the Beach

Here’s my piece for the end of our long hot summer:  ”Summer at the Beach”, 12 x44 inches, handmade paper with pigments, cut and mounted on canvas.

“Stripes in Green and Orange”

New piece just finishedl:  ”Stripes in Green and Orange”", 12 x 44 inches, handmade paper cut in many, many strips, mounted on canvas with strips of tinted plexiglass.  Come to the studio and see it in person!

2010 Summer Show at BWAC

BWAC’s (Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition) Summer Show opens July 17– weekends through Aug 22, 1-6pm, 499 Van Brunt Street, Red Hook, Brooklyn.   Come visit!  (www.bwac.org)  To see art with handmade paper, look for Panels 133  and 169 (Ellie Winberg) and Panels 135 and 251 (Mauricio Morillas).
